The Community Club building is a popular place for reunions and parties! Call (864) 638-2681 for prices and dates available. The club has beautiful wooden floors, folding tables and chairs, and kitchen. We have a large parking lot and are easy to find. Building is located in front of Hillbilly Day grounds. Our Hillbilly Day pavillion is also available for rent.
The Etc Club meets Tuesdays at the Club from 9 am until noon to quilt. They have quilts displayed along the Community Club reception room walls for sell. These ladies also make the quilt that is auctioned off on Hillbilly Day.
Each of these people make up our current Community Club board. They are elected by the Club members.
President: Howard Queen

We now officially have our Adopt-a-Highway sign! isn't it purty? Thank you to all who came to our first clean up back in April!
We changed out the US flag at the walking trail. The new flag is sized according to the height of the pole.
The flag we took down was transferred over to the Volunteer Fire Dept. because their flag was faded. The on-duty firemen were told that the flag was being donated by the Community Club.
Hillbilly Day will now feature an ATM on site. We are excited about bringing this new convenience to the many people who come out to enjoy our festivities!
Every 3rd Saturday of the month we hold a potluck meal. These meals give club members a chance to "catch up" and have a some great conversations. It also gives the board members a chance to let the club members know what they have going on. Anybody is welcome, you do not have to be a club member to enjoy the meal. You can usually see a reminder for the meals on our sign located at the junction of Hwys 28 and 107.
JOIN THE CLUB! If you would like to join the Club all it costs is $5 a year per person, or $10 a year per family. You can either give your money to one of our board members or mail the payment to PO Box 24 Mountain Rest S.C. 29664.
